emerging talent by bringing hundreds of live acts and a nationally-respected keynote

This year, more than 300 artists will perform at 30 venues around the city with audiences
looking to catch the next Godsmack, Fuel or Halestorm—all of whom have performed at

independent musicians and industry professionals. Previous keynote speakers have included
MTV’s Matt Pinfield, Megadeth’s David Ellefson, Pat DiNizio of The Smithereens and Halestorm.
This year, the conference welcomes producer and GRAMMY-nominated engineer
David Ivory. Ivory currently serves as both a national trustee and co-chair of the GRAMMY
National Membership Committee. He has won gold and platinum RIAA awards for his work
with The Roots, Erykah Badu and Patti LaBelle. Ivory is also credited with discovering and
producing the GRAMMY-winning rock band Halestorm.
