What time do your shows start?

Each show is different, but generally, the shows start one hour after doors open. So for example, if doors are at 7, the first act will begin at 8. Headliners normally don’t take the stage until 10. But check our Facebook page or Twitter feed for the day of show updates.

Can I bring a camera?

Sure, consumer-grade, point-and-shoot cameras are always allowed. But professional photography provisions vary on a show-to-show basis. Removable lenses are considered Professional Photography. Please email solutions [at] greenbeltevents [dot] com to find out if a photo pass is required.

What about taping?

Taping is welcome and encouraged as long as your mics aren’t obtrusive or get in the way of the audience and as long as the band allows it.

Where can I buy tickets to avoid the service fee?

For Abbey Bar and Mezzanine shows, tickets are available at the venue. Whitaker shows at their box office. And for most Abbey Bar shows, you may purchase tickets without fees at the Hodge Podgery on 3rd Street or at CD Warehouse on Union Deposit.

If a show is cancelled, will I get a refund?

If a show is cancelled, refunds are available at point of purchase. You will be refunded automatically if you purchased a ticket through Front Gate Solutions. Please note openers are always subject to change.

What payment types do you accept?

When purchasing tickets in advance, all major credit cards and cash are accepted.

For Abbey Bar and Mezzanine shows, Cash only at the door. Whitaker box office accepts all major credit cards, all the time.

Are all of your shows 21+?

All shows at The Abbey Bar are strictly 21+. Mezzanine is 18+ and Whitaker is all ages.

My little sister is 19 and REAAAALY wants to see this band at The Abbey Bar…

Do I need to bring ID?

Don’t leave home without it.

Is there a coat check?

There is a coat RACK at The Abbey Bar.

Will there be seats?

Abbey Bar shows are all general admission, standing room only. There ARE a very limited number of high-top tables adjacent to the bar and are available on a first-come, first served basis.

Gallery shows are all seated, general admission, theater style.

Whitaker shows are all reserved seating.

Mezzanine is all general admission, standing room only.

Smoking?

Abbey Bar and Whitaker Center are both non-smoking. (Abbey Bar has a nice big deck for the smokers.)

Mezzanine is surprisingly still a smoking venue.

Is there an ATM?

At the Abbey Bar, there is an ATM outside the elevator door on the first floor.

At the Mezzanine there is an ATM at the main entrance.
