While You’re Here

Traveling to Harrisburg for a show? While you’re here, check out some of these other fine establishments for a place to stay, a place to eat, a place to shop or some neat stuff to see…

A Place To Stay…

We recommend the Staybridge Suites located at 920 Wildwood Park Drive about one mile from The Abbey Bar. They offer a free, door-to-door shuttle until about 11PM most days. We’ve got a preferred rate, too. Request the “Appalachian Brewing Company” rate and stay for $89/99.

The Morning-After Breakfast Spots…(and some great local eats)

For a quick, hearty omelet, french toast, bacon and eggs and a heady cup of coffee, our first choice is always Roxy’s Cafe - located at 274 N 3rd Street (at the corner of North, adjacent from the Capitol). Nothing’s over ten bucks and the Lynonaise Omelet is a local favorite.

For something a little bit pricier but totally worth every penny, try brunch or dinner at Confit French Bistro in Camp Hill or Mangia Qui (around the corner from Roxy’s).

Some unique local shops to browse…

Literally right around the corner from The Abbey Bar is Atomic Warehouse. A must-see for any true rock and roll fan. Atomic Age to Modern, Vintage Clothing & Accessories for Men and Women, Swing Ties, Collectible Kitchenware, Retro Furnishings and Household Items, Antiques and Art and tons of great vinyl. Find out why some of the biggest touring national acts stop here on their way through the midstate.
